Norwegian participation at OTC

27 – 29 October the 3rd OTC Brazil is arranged in Rio de Janeiro. Also in this year’s event, the Norwegian business community will be present: Norwegian companies will have booths in the exhibition, various representatives of Norwegian companies and research institutions will participate in the technical program, and additionally, seven Norwegian companies from the FRAM Market Subsea will attend OTC.



Kongsberg, DNV GL and FMC Technologies are among the exhibitors at OTC. The exhibition pavilion will be open from 1200-2000 each day of the event.

Technical Program

Representatives of Norwegian entities also play an active role in the technical program of OTC – both as speakers and as participants in panel discussions. Among the participating companies we find Statoil, DNV GL, Aker Solutions, Well Design Online, AGR Software and FMC Technologies. Additionally, research entities like SINTEF and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) will be present.

During the event, a panel on public policies and R&D for the oil and gas sector will debate: “What are the current key discussions in Norway, The United States and Brazil?”. Another session is dedicated to a discussion on: “Riserless Light Well Intervention: Taking the North Sea Experience to Deeper Water and Higher Efficiency”.

FRAM Market Subsea

Also, the companies composing FRAM Market Subsea group will attend OTC. FRAM Market is a program for Norwegian SMBs with international ambitions. The program aims at strengthening the companies’ competitiveness and profitability through strategic and profitability development.
