Hyperspectral imaging technology for mapping and monitoring of the seabed
ECOTONE brings up innovative technology that is applicable for drilling operations, environmental surveys, pipeline inspections. ECOTONE interacts with industry and governmental agencies to deliver operational solutions for identification, monitoring, and mapping of marine physical, biological, geological and chemical features.
Differently from the human eye, which can only see three colors, hyperspectral cameras can identify all visible wavelengths. ECOTONE applies their hyperspectral imaging camera, in addition to their database and consultancy service, for identifying critical species and items based on their optical fingerprint, thus allowing a time and cost efficient environmental analysis of the seabed.
