Innovation Norway has defined the agency that will be responsible for promoting Norway as a travel destination within the Brazilian market. This is the first result of our Travel & Tourism project in Brazil.
According to Heidi Dahl, Innovation Norway’s Director Tourism International Markets, Norway has noticed a significant raise in the number of overnights of Brazilians in the latest years, which has made Brazil a new target market.
“Our initial priority will be to establish Norwegian products with the Brazilian tourism operators, increase the awareness of Norway as a travel destination together with travel agents, and expand media coverage”, explains Heidi.
The name of the agency is Global Vision Access, and they are based in Sao Paulo. Promotional material and a new webpage in Portuguese will be produced already in 2013. The highlight for early 2014 will be the launching of the Frozen campaign. Frozen, Uma Aventura Congelante, as it will be called in Brazil, is the new animation film produced by Walt Disney Pictures, and has Norway as scenario.
